This specimen was identified by Corydoradinae expert and co-author of Identifying Corydoradinae Catfish, Ian Fuller who claimed it to be Corydoras sp. “CW115”. This is a one of the newer undescribed species from lineage 9 Corydoras. My image was published to Planetcatfish.com for their entry on Corydoras sp. “CW115”. This possibly unidentified species is from the 1Rio Manapiare in Venezuela. It is one of the newer generation of possible new species, given it is a CW-Number.
This Species will hybridize with other species within lineage 9 (some popular lineage 9 Corydoras are sterbai, adolfoi, panda etc.)
